Energy Market MCP
Service terms
Updated 16 October 2026
These terms cover the no-key trial and paid access to Amperical's Energy Market MCP: derived day-ahead spread analytics and related source context.
Trial and licensed access
You may inspect the live catalog and use the no-key trial without an account. Trial spread queries can use any listed location and return complete-day results within the latest seven-day window in live coverage. Use list_coverage to check current locations and dates. This seven-day limit applies to spread time series only.
Full access is licensed to one organization for $49 USD per month during the introductory period. We issue an organization access key after manual invoicing. Send it as an Authorization Bearer header when connecting the MCP. The license follows the coverage and request limits published in the live catalog.
The same MCP also returns public ERCOT and CAISO BESS leaderboard report values at no charge in both tiers. Their dates and metric or method notices follow the published reports and are not limited to seven days. Source links and current windows appear in list_coverage.
How you may use the analytics
TB2, TB4, TB6 and TB8 are derived day-ahead price-spread measures in USD/MWh. Daily values use complete operating days; monthly values average complete days. They are screening measures, not realized battery revenue, operating instructions or performance guarantees.
You may use computed spread analytics inside your licensed organization. Do not resell, redistribute or provide MCP access to people outside that organization. Those limits apply to computed spread analytics. The service does not provide raw ISO price rows. Do not use spread outputs to reconstruct source time series.
Leaderboard results repeat public report display values, including published bands, with source links and notices. Source notices and reuse terms still apply; these service terms grant no additional rights.
Sources and attribution
Source coverage may change. Attribute EIA data to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. These service terms do not narrow the public-domain rights EIA makes available; third-party material remains subject to its own notices.
The separate Overture transmission-line database is offered under the Open Database License (ODbL-1.0). Its recipients keep the rights that license grants. Use this attribution: “© OpenStreetMap contributors, Overture Maps Foundation.” A free copy is available at the transmission-line dataset link.
The Overture database's ODbL rights are separate from the internal-use terms for Amperical's computed analytics.
Billing, renewal and cancellation
We bill by manual invoice. We do not automatically charge or renew your license. Each renewal needs a new invoice approval. You may cancel before the next paid period; access ends when the current paid period ends.
If we withdraw a source or reduce licensed coverage, we refund the unused part of the paid period in proportion to the coverage removed.
Contact and privacy
Access requests may include your email, organization, use case and billing or support details. We store them in internal access-request records, where only Amperical staff handling access, billing or support can view them and administer the license.
Ask us to delete request details at indresh@amperical.ai. We delete them unless invoice or legal obligations require us to keep the relevant records.
